Our Rocco contemporary playpens are made of beach wood (not tropical). Beach wood is a hard wood that does not splinters, which is specially important against children biting. A playpen is intended to retain a child whilst allowing it space to play. Most parents favour a wooden playpen over a travel cot, because a child can learn to walk much faster in a playpen by using the dowels to hold on to while walking around step by step.
The Rocco legs are made from one solid piece of wood. This is important not to have a breaking line when painted (if legs are glued together from several pieces this will happen). The bottom is adjustable in two heights.
Inside dimension between the dowels is 74,5 x 89 cm. The height from floor till top is 88 cm.
This playpen meet the required safety standards and Bopita issues a 7 year warranty on production failures. Pls. keep your receipt.
