Neutral Nurseries
It’s an age old dilemma. Don’t know what you’re having but need to get the nursery ready. Creating a neutral nursery for your baby that still has lots of personality is easier than you think.
Stop thinking about "baby boy" blue and "baby girl" pink and think further than beige and white. Consider pale greens and yellows, whites, reds, creams and beiges, you can do neutral with colour. Themes don’t have to be fairies and cars, consider jungley, gardens, animals, farms or seaside. Remember, you’ll probably have another baby and a neutral nursery theme can be used again. When your baby arrives you can easily dress up the nursery with either feminine or more masculine lighting, mobiles, accessories and toys.
Look around you. Do you have any unique sources of inspiration? An heirloom, a favourite painting, even a familiar nursery theme could spark your imagination and determine the perfect style and colour for your baby's nursery.
Bear in mind that your baby's nursery can be well coordinated without being entirely themed. Personal attention, imagination and inspiration is more important, stylish and original than having a perfect coordination throughout the room.
